Presenting the DRAFT Orem Bicycle and Pedestrian Study Recommendations
Greetings!
After many months of public involvment, analysis, and discussions with Orem staff, we now have a draft recommended bicycle network! The implementation of these bike routes, bike lanes, and shared-use paths will take many years to realize. As such, we have developed a Phase 1 plan which the City of Orem will devote resources to as available. The Phase 1 plan is intended to be implemented over the next 5-years. We need your help to tell us the facilities that you feel are the most valuable as this will help determine the order of implementation. Streets with high rankings will become priority projects, while low rankings may be delayed depending on available funding. Please use the form below the Phase 1 map to provide your rankings!
We also have formulated a 'Vision Plan' for the Orem bicycle network. The Vision Plan is a long range goal and represents the ideal completed network. Many of the projects represented in the Vision Plan may take many years to secure funding for and develop.
